Security First Bank was founded in 1979 to provide high quality, competitively priced financial products and services to individuals and businesses in Southeastern Wyoming, Western Nebraska and Northern Colorado. In 1993, the bank was purchased by First State BancShares, Inc., a Nebraska Holding Company and at that time our charter converted from a Savings and Loan institution to a full service bank.

Our main office building, constructed in 1998, is located at 500 West 18th Street, Cheyenne, WY. We also have branches at 2501 East Lincoln Way, which was our original location, and at 608 Grand Avenue in Laramie, Wyoming.

We continue to be one of the fastest growing, privately owned banks in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Security First Bank is a full-service community bank offering both consumer and commercial loan products and services, including home mortgage origination and underwriting services.
